REBECCA Trujillo Vest
CO-FOUNDER AND BOARD CHAIR
Rebecca is an artist, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, music producer, spiritual savant, and community leader. She began singing and playing guitar as a young girl in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Rebecca found moments shared with her guitar to be a nurturing experience, which led to her path as a music creator and her performing persona, Osmunda Music. As an artist, she is influenced by many sources, including world music, having journeyed to many countries, and genres such as New Age, Pop, Folk, Singer-Songwriter, Rock, Americana, and Children’s Music.
Rebecca and her husband are founding members of the band Space Babies. In 2010, they opened Earthstar Creation Center, a recording studio in Venice, California. Together, they have co-produced many projects. Artists who have recorded at Earthstar include Beck, The National, P!nk, Space Babies, and Pharrell Williams. She is a passionate activist for a wide range of causes, from global warming and arts education to homelessness and hunger.
It is this drive that led her to say “yes” to the idea of creating Pandion Music Foundation as a nonprofit organization with Executive Director Jordan Stobbe and Operations Director Carls Woolf. Their shared goals are to uplift the lives and careers of music creators through advocacy, education, wellness initiatives, and to increase opportunities for members of the music community to thrive.
We seek to support musicians around the globe by building a community of industry professionals and independent music creators across all lines of diversity and inclusion, where artists can access free educational and wellness resources and collaboration opportunities. Our commitment to diversity is reflected in Pandion’s leadership, with its women-led staff and Board.
