JORDAN Stobbe

CO-FOUNDER AND BOARD SECRETARY

Jordan has a passion for music that runs deep. Raised on the classics, she developed a voracious love of 60s/70s/80s-era music – The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, and Queen, among others. This invoked a lifelong obsession with Paul McCartney, which she is not afraid to admit still exists to this day, and is evident in the sporting of her beloved Beatles Bass guitar. Her fangirl youth quickly shifted into a strong desire to become a performing musician herself, inspiring her to build her own band, The Rayes, at the end of high school.

She began performing on the streets of Pike Place Market in her hometown of Seattle, Washington, and growing from there, her band went on to record with iconic producers and play countless venues throughout the U.S. Jordan made the move Down Under with her band to experience the Melbourne music scene, and regularly plays live gigs around the city and around Australia. Having personally experienced the innumerable obstacles that block independent musicians from developing financial sustainability in their careers, Jordan is driven to find sustainable ways to shift the industry into one that supports those who struggle to make a living from their craft.
